Willow

Resident Cat

Willow resident cat

This beautiful girl came to reside with us in 2010. Within days she managed to declare herself Queen of the Clinic and has reigned ever since. You may see her as see often hangs out with our receptionists during the day. For those wondering, she is a long-haired flame point Siamese.

VooDoo

Resident Cat

VooDoo resident cat

VooDoo is a Siamese. She is super sweet, loves scratches but she's shy so you may not see her around. One of her ears is a little crumpled and she's lost some teeth, but that didn't stop sweet love from developing between her and our late kitty boy Licky Licky! On any day we could find them cuddled up next to each other or giving each other loving head butts!

Olivia

Resident Cat

Olivia resident cat

Olivia was found half frozen in Canadaway Creek and brought to Lakeshore Humane Society. She was only a kitten at the time and had a problem controlling her back end - she basically had the wobbles! Dr. Frost had heard about her special needs, plus being her favorite breed (Siamese), she decided to adopt her on behalf of the clinic.

Snots

Bigfoot

In Memorium

Bigfoot the cat

Bigfoot (aka Toes) was found as an injured stray kitten in 1993 and had been at the clinic as our official greeter and mascot until his passing from complications of liver disease in April 2009. He was a happy, curious, and sometimes mischievous cat who was blessed with 26 toes. Over the years, thousands of clients and patients got to know him. He had a good life and was well loved. In his honor, the staff created and still maintains "The Bigfoot Fund" to help other stray, abandoned or disadvantaged pets. At our office we sell a variety of items with profits going into the fund and we accept donations in his memory as well.

Mystery

In Memorium

Mystery the cat

Mystery came to us in 2010. She was an abandoned kitty who was diagnosed with intestinal health issues. A very friendly cat, she was well suited for life at our clinic, being respectful of the pets that came and went. We often found her hanging out in sunny window sills or waiting by a faucet for a fresh drink of water. We will all miss Mystery, she was a special part of the family here at DAC.

Licky Licky

In Memorium

Licky Licky the cat

Licky Licky, was quite the unique character. Yes, his tongue occasionally sticks out! He was a 24 lbs. ball of love when he came to us. With some Purina OM (weight management food) and exercise he managed to lose 6 lbs. and no longer rolled like a log to get from one end of a room to another. He loved to nap during the day with VooDoo or meowing while running through the clinic with his favorite ball in his mouth.
