Official Terms and Conditions
Drawing: While visiting us at our office use the check-in feature in Facebook and show your check-in post to a staff member to be entered into our monthly drawing. Get a second entry by taking a photo of your pet(s) and attaching to the check in post. August’s monthly drawing is for one free dose of tick and flea product: Simparica (dog) or Activyl (cat), or comparable product. All steps must be done at the same time while entrant is physically visiting the office.
This drawing is limited to Dunkirk Animal Clinic (DAC) clients and their pets. Pet receiving preventative must have had a health exam within the past year. Clients can enter the drawing as many times as they are at the Dunkirk Animal. In July 2018 only one dose of Simparica (dog) or Activyl (cat), or comparable product will be given as the prize. Employee pet(s) and/or employee family member pet(s) are not eligible to enter the drawing but can certainly still use the check-in feature. Must be 18 years or older to enter contest.
How to Enter:¬† Enter Drawing by completing three steps: (1) visiting the Dunkirk Animal Clinic, (2) using Facebook’s check-in feature, and (3) showing a staff member your check-in post on Facebook within the contest time frame. ¬†An additional entry can be acquired if the next two steps are completed with the above steps: (1a) taking a photo of your pet(s) and (1b) attaching photo to the check-in post.
Steps 1, 2 and 3 must be done at the same time to receive one entry into the drawing for the current month. All five steps must be done at the same visit to receive a total of two entries into the drawing for the current month. Only one check-in post and subsequent entries will be allowed per visit. Odds of winning drawing are dependent on the number of times a person completes all 3 or 5 requirements and the number of people entered into the drawing. Successful entrant names will be written on a tag and placed in container for the drawing at the end of each month.
Drawing Winner:¬† One Dunkirk Animal Clinic employee will draw one name from the drawing container after the last day of the month.¬† The winner will be notified via phone or Facebook’s private messaging service. Winners who cannot be reached within two weeks after the contest is over forfeits winner status and prize. Also, the winner will be announced to the public via a Facebook post.
Drawing Timeline:¬† Those who complete all 3 (or 5) requirements to gain an entry within a given month (from the first day of the month to the last day of the month) will be entered into that given month’s drawing.¬† Names will not be saved from one month to the next. Each drawing will end on the last day of each month.
Terms:  By entering this drawing you agree to the following statement and terms:  This Competition / Drawing / Give-a-way is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. If photos and/or comments are attached to the check-in post, you are providing your photos and/or comments to the Dunkirk Animal Clinic and not to Facebook. Any photos and/or comments you provide will be used for the purposes of this Competition / Drawing / Give-a-way and grants permission for thephotos and/or comments to be used by the Dunkirk Animal Clinic online at www.dunkirkanimalclinic.com and other online communities including Facebook.
The drawing prize cannot be transferable to another person. No prize or part of a prize is exchangeable for cash. If an advertised prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize.
