Dr. Rebekah R. Frost is a 2005 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and a Chautauqua County Native. She is owner and head Veterinarian of the clinic. She enjoys surgery, dentistry, and diagnostics. Dr. Frost resides near Sinclairville with her husband Daryl, and children Caden and Mikenna and Colton. Her pets include seven horses, three dogs, five cats, 2 goats and many chickens. She enjoys horseback riding, hiking, and biking in her spare time.
Dr. Culverwell is a native of Chautauqua County and a 2003 graduate of Cassadaga High School. He attended Ross University and Colorado State University where he received his doctorate of veterinary medicine in 2011. He excels in small animal medicine and surgery and enjoys diagnostics including ultrasonography. He enjoys spending time with his family and his favorite hobbies include hunting, camping, and cooking.
<<< Linda is our Office Manager, and has been with our Clinic for over 25 years. She attended Jamestown Business College and lives in Fredonia. She enjoys camping and spending time with daughter Jessica and their cat Aurora.
>>> Michele is our afternoon receptionist. She attended JCC and Fredonia State College. Michele lives in Irving with her husband Phil, son Justin, and their six dogs and three cats. She enjoys spending time with her dogs, traveling, and visiting her daughter and grandchildren in Virginia.
<<< Kath has been our Surgical Assistant for 24 years. Aside from all things feline, her interests include crafts and collecting cookbooks. She lives in Jamestown with her husband Jerry and her cat Benny. We call her the “cat whisperer” as she can tame any fractious feline!
>>> Cheryl is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and our inventory manager. She is a 1983 graduate of SUNY @ Delhi’s Veterinary Technology program. She lives in Cassadaga, NY, with her husband three children, two dog and two cats. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering at her daughter’s school, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She is also a very talented artist and has used her craftiness to provide clients with beautiful hand painted paw print memorials and many other client education materials.
<<< Britani joined our team in March 2014. She graduated from the Great Lakes Institute of Technology Veterinary Assisant program in 2008. She has extensive experience in the Veterinary field. She resides in Dewittville with her fiance Kris and her boxer/lab puppy Killian. She enjoys family time and boating.
>>> Mary is one of our Animal Caretakers. A native of Pennsylvania, she graduated from Penn State with two degrees in the environmental field. She lives in Fredonia with her two dogs, Grace & Nips, and cat Halle. Mary greatly enjoys animals, the outdoors and international travel.
<<< Heather is one of our Animal Caretakers. She graduated from the Great Lakes Institute of Technology and is a certified Veterinary Assistant. She is a very hard worker and is very good with all animals. She lives in Brocton with her two pugs Maggie and Lucy.
>>>Nicole joined our team April 2014. She is a graduate of the Great Lakes Institute of Technology Veterinary Assistant program. She lives in Ripley with her family and her 3 cats, 1 dog and 1 bird. She enjoys camping, running and being outdoors.
<<<Heather is a Pittsburgh native and has lived in Dunkirk for the past 10 years. She is currently filling in at the clinic as an Animal Caretaker. She enjoys gardening, time with her family and all her critters, 2 dogs, 1 ferret, 4 gerbils and 2 dwarf hamsters.
>>>Mystery is one of our kitties on staff. She was an abandoned kitty who was diagnosed with intestinal health issues. We have found a special diet for her and you can find her now happily purring in our reception area!
<<< This beautiful girl came to reside with us in 2010. Within days she managed to declare herself Queen of the Clinc and has reigned ever since. Best friends with Mystery, the two enjoy playing and have occasionally been seen napping next to each other. For those wondering, she is a long-haired flame point Siamese.
>>> Licky Licky, our new clinic cat, is quite the unique character. Yes, his tongue occasionally sticks out! He was a 24 lbs. ball of love when he came to us. With some Purina OM (weight management food)and excersize he has managed to loose 6 lbs. and no longer rolls like a log to get from one end of a room to another. He can be seen napping along side Mystery during the day or meowing while running through the clinic with his favorite ball in his mouth.
>>> Bigfoot (aka Toes) was found as an injured stray kitten in 1993 and had been at the clinic as our official greeter and mascot until his passing from complications of liver disease in April 2009. He was a happy, curious, and sometimes mischievous cat who was blessed with 26 toes. Over the years, thousands of clients and patients got to know him. He had a good life and was well loved.
In his honor, the staff created and still maintains “The Bigfoot Fund” to help other stray, abandoned or disadvantaged pets. At our office we sell a variety of items with profits going into the fund and The Lake Shore Humane Society accepts donations in his memory as well. They can be contacted at P. O.
